Description Robert Half is seeking a skilled and reliable AV Technician for a short-term project in Phoenix, AZ. This project involves setting up and configuring audiovisual systems for a client event. Key Responsibilities: + Mounted Display Setup: Install and configure 18 mounted displays, ensuring optimal functionality and alignment to project specifications. + HDMI to Ethernet Configuration: Set up HDMI to Ethernet connections and integrate with existing AV infrastructure to ensure seamless data and signal transmission between devices. + Hardware Replacement: Diagnose, remove, and replace defective AV hardware components. Ensure updated hardware is functioning properly post-installation. + Test, troubleshoot, and resolve audio-visual system issues as needed during the project timeframe. + Collaborate with project stakeholders onsite to confirm proper setup meets expectations. Requirements Required Qualifications: + Proven experience as an AV Technician, including installing mounted displays, connectivity setup, and hardware replacement. + Strong expertise with HDMI to Ethernet configurations and AV troubleshooting methods. + Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. + Knowledge of AV system components, including displays, switches, and cabling. + Familiarity with tools necessary for mounting and hardware installation. + Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with team members or clients onsite. Preferred Qualifications: + Relevant certifications such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or equivalent are a plus. + Experience with commercial AV systems and large-scale setups. Project Details: + Dates: 3 consecutive days (specific dates will be provided upon hiring). + Hours: Full-day availability required for the duration of the project. + Location: Phoenix, AZ (exact location details provided during the onboarding process). + Compensation will be determined based on experience and project scope.
